In this business, recruiting is at least 80% of your success, if not more.
However, for some reason, people avoid focusing on this.
Everyone is obsessed with traffic. But if you don't have anything to promote, does it really matter where your traffic comes from?
Models are everyone's Achilles heel. Because you don't only need bodies to throw into the grinder; you also need people who are good WORKERS.
So, in this blog, I'm going to lay down everything I've learnt about recruitment in the last two months.
PS: If you don't want to waste any time and want to get started right away, click this link to access The Avatar Empire: the #1 OF Agency Course and learn the strategies we use to scale our models to $2,000/day.
I had nothing when I first began out in May. No models, no traffic sources, and no knowledge.
And I understood that attracting girls would be my most difficult assignment.
I didn't have a network of girls to dump into the adult industry other than one strange girl I knew in real life.
So I did what I believed would be best: I began spamming.
During the first month, I sent roughly 3,000 DMs to girls asking if they wanted to model. I was mostly interested in recruiting girls to work as webcam models at the time (which is harder work, IMO). However, the procedure is the same.
I quickly learnt not to get too enthusiastic when a girl says she wants to sign with you.
Here's how we perceive the recruiting process as men, aka logical reasonable creatures:
In my mind, at least, I always took models’ word at face value.
Many guys in the OF agency scene get thrilled when they reach phases 2-5. However, you don't truly "have" a model worth shit until she gets to phase 6.
It takes almost little effort for a girl to join you on a Zoom session or to click a few buttons and sign a contract.
But when it comes time for her to spend 30-60 minutes developing content, the process starts to fall apart.
I can't tell you how many times a girl texted me something like, "OMG THANK YOU FOR CONTACTING ME YES I'M SO INTERESTED!!!"
The call would go smoothly, and I would sign her. But she'd fall when it came to doing something as easy as verifying her OF.
I iterated a new hiring process after literally hundreds and dozens of similar situations.
What I discovered is that many of these girls have little or no professional experience.
When you sign them, they literally DON'T KNOW HOW TO ACT, and it is your responsibility to EXPLICITLY tell them what to do.
For example, when I initially started scheduling Zoom sessions with girls, I would agree on a time and provide them a link to the call.
They would frequently be 10, 15, or even 30 minutes late. This was obviously wrong, but I never told them not to be late.
So now, when I make the call, I expressly remind them, "Please be on time to the call."
It sounds ridiculous, yet this is how you must communicate with them.
Here's another good one:
After I sign a new girl, I send her an onboarding email with three objectives to complete:
I used to just leave this open and tell people to "do it as soon as possible".
But what actually happened? They'd take forever, and I'd have to follow them down.
So now, at the end of the conversation, I expressly inform them:
"You have 48 hours to do this task. We will not work with you if it is not done within 48 hours.".
It doesn't always work, but the thing is that you have to tell the girls EXACTLY what they need to do at every step of the process. Otherwise, the majority of them will try to make ends meet by performing the bare minimum.
I discovered my first superstar about two weeks ago.
Let me tell you something... if I had ten of these girls, I'd be printing a million dollars this year.
And what she does isn't really noteworthy. It literally takes the bare minimum to make this thing work.
The issue is that this market is rife with power-drunk divas who believe that because they get likes on their IG pictures, they don't need to put in any effort to make money on OF.
They, in particular, do not deliver the number and quality of content required to create a proper following.
But first, let me tell you about my superstar and why she's so incredible.
First and foremost, let me tell you HOW I knew she was a superstar from the start.
The way someone responds to your first message might reveal a lot about them. My current opening message is rather lengthy, and it includes a link to an even longer sales letter that I produced.
I use this to screen out those who are too stupid/lazy/uninterested to put in the effort.
If they won't read a 20-page sales letter, they won't spend an hour every day creating content for me.
That being said, the sales letter is the last iteration of a masterpiece I made to save time on Zoom calls by delivering the same information over and over.
It also hypes up the models about how much money they'll make, how incredible we are, and so on.
I can determine how good a model will be based on how she responds to my introductory message.
If they reply with a few words like, "I'm interested." I know they're going to be terrible.
If they react with a wall of text that reads, "OMG I'm so glad you contacted me! I've been seeking for something similar for a long time. I tried OF but couldn't get it to work, blah blah blah..." Then I know they're probably going to be good.
Guess what my superstar's response was.
She does everything correctly.
She's also about 40 years old and has four children.
However, she has made nearly $2,500 in her first week and a half.
Why? Because she listens to us and does what we ask of her.
But, as I already stated, these girls will not know what to do unless you instruct them.
She's doing well because I provided her specific instructions on what to do. Make this many videos, in this style, and so forth.
All she had to do was follow my instructions.
It's surprising how difficult it is to discover folks like that. She is essentially the only girl I've signed out of all the girls I've signed.
Since beginning this adventure, I've had phases when I aggressively recruited and periods where I didn't.
My reasoning was that when a few models were onboarded, it was time to take a break and get them up to speed.
The issue I encountered was that not all models onboarded at the same rate. As a result, the 48-hour rule was established.
However, many of these girls drag their fucking feet like you wouldn't believe.
Again, as a man, you'd believe the procedure would go as follows:
But what it really looks like is this:
This business appears to be simple. Sims rush in to spend money on girls who post their dirty portions online.
And I'm sure that as males, we all KNOW that if we had a woman's figure, we'd all be millionaires.
Not because we're smarter (though we are), but because we don't mind working a few hours a day to make a lot of money.
But it's amazing how, despite being born with this tremendous skill, these ladies are so incredibly indolent, especially when the potential payout is truly life-changing amounts of money.
In any case, it is for this reason that you must always be recruiting.
Here's a list of potential pitfalls:
This company involves a lot of back and forth between us and the models in the first few weeks.
We need to get her to create material that converts (for which we have a formula) and to get her authenticated on specific platforms so that her reach is expanded.
To make this work, you must establish early on that this is going to happen.
A lot of these girls sign up thinking they will make $20k per month by giving you 2-3 mirror pictures every day.
You need to pop that balloon right away since it doesn't work unless you're already famous.
Even if you get a girl who says she'd love to work with you, it's all for naught unless she shows herself by:
You don't have shit if she doesn't do those things.
When I first started recruiting, I opted to use an adult job website to find candidates.
I began DMing folks and rapidly discovered that many of them were flaky, unreliable, and low-quality employees.
At first, I wrote it off as them just being low quality human beings. After all, people who turn to sex work usually do so for lack of a better option.
However, when I began recruiting from other sites, I discovered that they were all of poor quality.
More specifically, regardless of where you recruit, you will face the same issues.
Many will be erratic, untrustworthy, and will vanish as soon as it appears that they must begin working.
For this reason, I now believe that recruiting is a NUMBERS GAME.
The more people you contact, the more likely it is that you will come across an unavoidable superstar who does what you ask, when you ask.
And the purpose of this profession is to find superstars.
It makes no difference how attractive she is or how amazing her stuff is if she doesn't provide it when asked.
I'd rather have a 400-pound cow with one leg that obeys commands like a soldier, than a slim thoroughbred with double Ds that I have to pursue.
It's hard to think it's just been a year since I began this adventure because I've gone so far in such a short time.
I'm still not where I want to be, but I believe that if I keep going in this direction, I'll be there in six months.
I believe the reasons I've come so far in such a short time can be boiled down to three factors:
I'll go through 1 and 2 in another post, but focusing on recruiting has allowed me to make a lot of progress very rapidly.
You don't have shit in this profession until you have a model who is willing to work.
You can have the best Tinder bot in the world and own all of the top subreddits in the world, but if you don't have a model willing to put in the work, it's all meaningless.
And such girls do not grow on trees.
She may have 100k followers on Instagram and 1 million on TikTok, but if she is unwilling to do the job, she is completely useless to us.
Not only that, but the situation is exacerbated by the fact that these girls are some of the most outright liars I've ever met. They'll tell you up front that they're excited and willing to do the work, but disappear five minutes later.
Focusing on recruiting has helped me a lot, and I feel it can help other newcomers as well.
For one thing, it's helped me to recognize what distinguishes a good model from a terrible one.
It's also taught me that I need to inform these girls EXPLICITLY what I expect of them.
It's taught me that one good model is worth a hundred bad ones.
Recruiting is at least 80%, if not more, of this business. If you have good models (traffic sources, chatters, and partners, for example) on your team, you're on the right track.
However, if you've surrounded yourself with shitty models, then you're in for a difficult time.

Best of luck out there.
